There is this interesting service of the BPI where in you can do usual banking transactions in your mobile phone called "BPI Express Mobile." This is the first time I heard of this service.

Here are some of its features:

Get real time balances of your Express Teller, Express Credit and Express Cash accounts Transfer funds to another Express Teller peso account instantly Reload any Globe or TM prepaid cellphone conveniently Pay bills to over 170 partner merchants, utilities and establishments easily Load any Express Cash or Express Money Order card immediately Move funds to and from your GCash wallet quickly

Only Globe users can avail this service.

This is actually similar to G-cash yet in this transaction, bank accounts are involved. It is quick, very convenient, and practical ,their tagline says "banking at your finger tips, anytime, anywhere." provided you have a cellphone signal in the area.

You can now attend more to other things in excess of your time than before, where you actually go to the bank and do your transactions there. You can save yourself from the long lines, the traffic and even from penalties.

The service is the country's first mobile facility especially designed for the banking needs of business customers. It allows customers to inquire on their deposit account balances and approve financial transactions.

BPI's official communication says it all.

''Being on the go doesn't mean business transactions need to take a back seat. Customers can start the day with a quick look at their deposit account balances, approve the company's payroll while attending a business meeting, and play a round of golf without missing out on tax and other regulatory payments.''

With this new service from BPI (first in the country), business transactions can now be done time efficiently. You can transfer funds right away at anytime. If used by many businessmen and presuming it will be without error, economic flow will run smoothly. Buyers  can directly transfer funds to sellers, making profits to  arrive earlier, and making less cost. 


Technology now plays a very vital role in the country's economy growth. Firms should keep up with the latest trends in I.T. and communications for them to stay strong, stable, and profitable. The Philippines may still be behind other countries but it's a good thing we're catching up having services like the mobile express banking.
